1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage (localStorage), serve similar purposes. They can be strictly necessary for the website to work or optional (for example, for third-party services).
2. What we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
appledent_cookie_consent | Strictly necessary (local storage), first-party | Remembers your cookie choice so we don’t ask on every visit | 6 months |
appledent_promo_closed | Strictly necessary (session storage), first-party | Remembers that you closed the offer banner so it doesn’t reappear on every page | Until you close the browser |
Google Maps cookies (e.g. NID, AEC, SOCS) | Optional, third-party (Google) | Displaying the interactive map with the clinic’s location | Per Google’s policy, usually up to 13 months |
Google Maps does not load and sets no cookies until you click “Accept all” or “Show map”. Without consent you can still open the location directly in Google Maps via a link.
3. What we don’t use
- advertising or remarketing cookies;
- traffic analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) or tracking pixels (e.g. Meta Pixel);
- fonts or scripts loaded from third parties — our fonts are hosted on our own server.
4. Links to other services
The WhatsApp, Viber and Facebook buttons are plain links: nothing loads until you click them. Once you do, those providers’ privacy and cookie policies apply.
5. Managing your consent
You can change your choice at any time using the button below or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Blocking strictly necessary storage may cause the consent banner to appear on every visit.
